People live lives through stories whether we are living them or getting lost in them thanks to the author’s imagination. I am an avid reader and writer, whose mission is to get people to read books.
I write mainly about the generation after the immigrant generation and the dual cultural identity clashes that impact this 1.5 Generation. I’ve written one novel about a thirty-year-old Indian American woman who travels to India to arrange her own marriage. I’ve also written one creative non-fiction book about the challenges of finding love while growing up with the pressure to marry. I’m always fiddling around with short stories and am currently working on a collection of connected stories.
